Team Staff
Head Coach- Seabrook Satterlund
Seabrook brings a wealth of experience at multiple levels of competitive hockey. He played collegiate hockey at Union College (NCAA Division I, ECAC/Ivy League) and has junior hockey experience in both the USHL and NAHL, as well as semi-professional experience in the ECHL. He has been an integral part of the Royal Oak hockey community for many years, contributing both on and off the ice. In addition to supporting the Yellow Future Stars program and serving as an assistant coach for the Royal Oak 14U Falcons, Seabrook currently leads as the head coach of the Junior Varsity M1 Griffins prep team in Royal Oak.
Seabrook comes from a hockey family, where his mother played for Northern Michigan University and his sister played for Michigan State. He has a passion for player development and is committed to helping players reach their full potential both on and off the ice.
Assistant Coach- Matt Ciancio
Matt brings extensive playing and coaching experience to the Detroit Revolution. As a player, Matt competed at the collegiate level with Northern Michigan University in the CCHA (2002-2006) and had a standout junior hockey career with the Sioux City Musketeers in the USHL (1999-2002), where he was a member of the 2002 Clark Cup Championship team. He also earned honors as a USA Hockey Top Prospect and Jr. A Select Team member in 2002. Before his USHL tenure, he played a season with the Danville Wings in the NAHL (1998-1999).
Matt has transitioned his passion for the game into coaching, serving as a volunteer coach for multiple youth programs, including the Royal Oak Eagles, Lil Wings, and Future Stars 6U during the 2023-2024 season. He is USA Hockey Level 1 certified and is dedicated to fostering player development, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Assistant Coach- Eric Lehmann
Eric brings over 30 years of hockey experience, including 12 years playing competitive travel hockey. Known for his strengths in power skating, edgework, and defensive skill building, Eric combines his deep understanding of the game with a passion for developing players.
His focus on mastering skating fundamentals and elevating defensive techniques will be vital to our success. Eric’s dedication to the sport and his ability to inspire others creates a positive and impactful presence on the ice.
Goaltending Coach- Cam Clauser
Cameron Clauser is the founder and head goalie coach at Thrive Goaltending, a development program based in Metro Detroit. With a passion for building strong technical foundations and game-ready instincts, Cam currently works with goalies of all ages from Mite to 18U across the region. His coaching emphasizes key fundamentals, including skating, save selection, and positional awareness, tailored to each goaltender’s development stage.
Power Skating- Jessica Swinton
Jessica Swinton is the owner and founder of Swinton Power, a program designed to enhance athletic performance through sport-specific training. A former professional figure skater, Jessica holds a B.S. in Physical Education and Coaching from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Higher Education from Fresno Pacific University.
Team Manager- Eric Weiss
Eric brings a strong professional background and a passion for leadership, structure, and effective operations to the Revolution. He is dedicated to delivering a well-organized, positive, and rewarding experience for every player and family involved.
In his behind-the-scenes role, Eric ensures the season runs smoothly- managing logistics, supporting coaches, and fostering alignment across the organization. With a clear, team-first approach, he helps create an environment where players can grow, succeed, and enjoy the game both on and off the ice.
